Outdoor Learning

We believe that all our children and young people should have the opportunity to learn in various ways, we recognise that outdoor learning experiences are often remembered for a lifetime. By integrating learning and outdoor experiences, whether through play in the immediate grounds or adventures further afield, provides relevance and depth to the curriculum in ways that are difficult to achieve indoors.

We have our own Outdoor Education Campus with a highly skilled team of teachers and assistants who deliver to our young people a curriculum in the Outdoors this includes Forest Schools, The Duke of Edinburgh Award, and the John Muir Award. The learning opportunities can be enjoyable, creative, challenging, and adventurous helping children and young people learn by experience and grow as confident and responsible citizens who value and appreciate the spectacular landscapes, natural heritage, and culture of Scotland.
